In your introduction, be sure to include your name along with your work experience and intent. Mention the position you are applying for, and where you found the job. This shows that you are actively seeking work within the industry.

Your second paragraph should elaborate on your work experience by explaining what skills you acquired and how you benefitted the companies you were previously employed at. This is your chance to sell yourself, so be assertive and write with confidence.

3. Draw from Your Resume
