Writing Out a Career Objective

Here, the applicant summarizes his involvement in the industry by including his tenure, duties, and capabilities. The applicant then goes on to bolster his credibility by mentioning a major career achievement that directly applies to the role:
- “Consistently exceeded monthly sales goals, resulting in annual multimillion-dollar increases in profits 6 years in a row.”
Lastly, he concludes his career objective by affirming his credentials and stating his intent:
- “Seeking to leverage my proven track record of maximizing company revenue in order to fulfill the National Sales Management position at your company.”

Demonstrating Your Professional Experience
The body of your resume should be a concise outline of noteworthy achievements and career highlights in your current and past roles.
